Jacksonville Beach continues its tradition as the entertainment center of Northeast Florida. Spring and Summer are festival and concert season in this city by the sea. Fans of the blues, jazz, classical music, and movies are just a few of the many who are drawn to the nearly weekly events in Jacksonville Beach that offer family entertainment.

Beginning in March, Jacksonville Beach residents and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national and regional bands, all with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean serving as the backdrop. Festivals also feature a variety of arts, crafts and children's activities.

   Wave Masters

The 32 nd Annual Wave Masters is here!

The weather, waves, crowd, competition, and all the activity at the Jacksonville Beach Pier always result in a spectacular weekend of family fun for the 200-plus competitors and thousands of spectators. The Annual WaveMasters Contest attracts hundreds of Florida’s top Pro and amateur surfers, as well as many semi-retired local competitors, all vying for tons of fantastic prizes.  Trained judges, an abundance of media coverage, great sponsors, and FSA organizers  all combine to make this North Florida’s premiere surf event.  Faver-Gray, a Jacksonville based, surfer-owned, design/build contractor business, has come in as a cash sponsor for the Longboard Pro event! All of this product exposure, combined with newspaper coverage, scaffold banners, entry forms, posters, contest T-shirts, PA announcements, our web page and more, make this a promotional extravaganza for any company looking to boost their image in the Jacksonville market.

The Annual WaveMasters Contest is North Florida’s showcase surf event, held every May in Jax Beach.

For over 30 years, it has served as the stepping stone for the vast talent emerging from Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra and Up and Down the East Coast of Florida.

Over 200 of the Southeast’s top Pros and Amateurs gather for a weekend of fun and rivalry as they vye for thousands of dollars in cash, prizes, and the trademark balsawood trophies. The Beach Raffle raises thousands for youth and environmental charities and looks like a surf shop on the sand.
